In-Person Program

This 10-module yoga program is perfect for you if you are interested in applying the principles of yoga to support your parenthood journey and meet other like-minded parents (or parents-to-be) along the way.

The program has specific sections for Conception, Pregnancy and Postpartum (Parenthood) and is relevant to all parents, irrespective of whether they are the birthing parents or not.


What to Expect

Each module, we explore one of the Yama and Niyama of yoga - guiding principles for everyday life. At each session, you will experience:

  • A safe, intimate and comfortable space for you (and your baby/partner) to connect with other parents (or parents-to-be)

  • Some gentle movement and breathing exercises

  • A weekly guided reflection upon one of ten core yoga principles

  • Time for quiet journaling/reflection and then sharing/discussing in a group format (with no obligation to share openly, only if you feel called)

  • A yoga exercise related to the weekly principle to help bring experiential relevance

  • Nurturing herbal tea will be provided

You will receive a complementary electronic copy of the comprehensive manual in the format of a guided journal when you sign up for the full program, which will then act as your reference material for each of the 10 modules.

Online Program

This program is now available as an online program through Bliss Baby Yoga.

We have collaborated with Ana Davis, founder of Bliss Baby Yoga to explore the Eight Limbs of yoga, focusing in particular on the first two limbs: the Yama and Niyama. We want to help you understand these foundational philosophical concepts to deepen your connection with and understanding of the richness of the yogic tradition. 

We have crafted a reflective journey of discovery of the Yama and Niyama, harnessing the nuggets of wisdom that they contain to support you as a parent living in a stressful world.

The practical and theoretical knowledge you’ll gain in this course will help you feel more empowered as a parent, parent-to-be, prospective parent or caregiver of these people by trusting in your intuition. 

It’s an embodied experience that comes out of deep exploration of the ancient precepts of yoga and applying them to your daily lived experience so that it feels practical and real.

Become a Practical Yoga Philosophy for Parenthood Facilitator

Our Practical Yoga Philosophy for Parenthood course includes a module that will equip you to become a facilitator of this course to your yoga community (if you’re a trained prenatal/postnatal yoga teacher).

You’ll gain the tools and inspiration to offer your own 10-week/10-module Practical Yoga Philosophy for Parenthood workshops to parents and parents-to-be. 

Our new Practical Yoga Philosophy for Parenthood course will not only serve as a deep-dive into personal growth as a parent but will also give you the know-how and confidence for a new income stream within your yoga teaching business.
